About the Race

Get ready to kick off spring with a running start at the tenth annual Purple Pride 5K, presented by Once Upon A Coconut and supported by Orlando Health, Heineken, Pepsi, and Publix. With Inter&Co Stadium as the backdrop, runners will start the race outside of Inter&Co Stadium, running through the local community before finishing on the sideline of the field inside the stadium. Spectators will be permitted to enter the stadium to cheer on friends and family as they complete their race.


The Purple Pride 5K is limited to a maximum of 2,000 runners. Each participant will receive a race t-shirt, a commemorative finisher's medal, a ticket to Orlando City's match against the Portland Timbers on May 24, and a ticket to Orlando Pride's match against the Houston Dash on June 7! Post-race activities will include a race DJ and Emcee, complimentary refreshments courtesy of Publix and Pepsi, food trucks, live music, on-field photo opportunities, and interactive games and giveaways for the entire family.

$10 discount for Orlando City Season Ticket Members 


Season Ticket Member registration does not include a ticket to the match. To receive the $10 discount, select the STM option from the "seating section" question and use the Season Ticket Member promo code at checkout. The STM promo code was emailed to you on March 6th by your Member Experience Representative. Please contact your Member Services Representative for details if you have not received it.

 

The entry fee and any additional match tickets purchased are non-refundable. The 5K race entry is non-transferable.

 

Match Ticket & Additional Match Tickets

As part of this package, each participant will receive one (1) complimentary ticket to both the Orlando City match against the Portland Timbers on May 27th and the Orlando Pride match against the Houston Dash on June 7th. 

We will contact participants through the email address used to register for the race prior to the Orlando City and Orlando Pride match with instructions on how to access their tickets. During registration, you can denote your seating location, either Supporters or South End 100.

During the registration process, you will also be able to purchase additional match tickets, with a maximum limit of eight (8) additional match tickets. Taxes and fees will apply. If selecting South End 100 & you'd like to seat your party together, the only way to sit together is to purchase additional seats or multiple race registrations in the same transaction. We highly recommend selecting the Supporters Section if you would like to attend with friends, as the Supporters Section is general admission. We cannot relocate your seats if you select South End 100 & do not purchase in the same transaction.

 

2025 Medal Coming Soon! 

 All participants registering for the Purple Pride 5K will receive a medal for completing the run. 

 

Race Number and T-Shirt Pick-Up Information & Policies
All participants are encouraged to pick up their race number and t-shirt prior to race day (dates, times, and locations to be determined). Participants will receive an e-race packet sent to the email used to register, including race information and the course map.

You must present a form of government-issued photo ID to pick up your race number and t-shirt. The only exception is for parents picking up for their children, who will still need to present a photo ID. You may pick up a race number and t-shirt for a friend, family member, or co-worker. However, you must present a written note (email, text, or handwritten) granting you permission, along with a picture or photocopy of that person's government-issued photo ID.

 

Chip Timing
Back by popular demand, this year's Purple Pride 5K chip-timed timed. Age group awards will be given to the top 3 males and females across set age groups:

  • 9 and under
  • 10-19
  • 20-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49
  • 50-59
  • 60-69
  • 70-79
  • 80+

 

Weather Safety
Orlando City may cancel, shorten, or alter any event or course due to weather or for any other reasons within or not within the control of Orlando City. All entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred toward a future event.

Q: What is the Purple Pride 5K?
A: The Purple Pride 5K is an annual fun run/walk celebrating Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride''s passionate fans. Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K course, exclusive swag, and a post-race celebration.

Q: When and where is the event?
A: The event will take place on May 17th, starting at Inter&Co Stadium. Check-in and pre-race activities begin at 6:30 AM with the race kicking off shortly after.

Q: Who can participate?
A: The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels!

Q: Do I need to be a fast runner to participate?
A: Not at all! Whether you're running, jogging, or walking, the Purple Pride 5K is all about having fun and showing your Orlando City pride.

Q: How do I register?
A: You can register online by clicking sign up on the race page. 

Q: What do I get with my registration?
A: Registration includes an exclusive race t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a ticket voucher for an Orlando City SC match and an Orlando Pride match. 

Q: When and where do I pick up my race packet?
A: Packet pickup details will be sent to all registered participants closer to the event date.

Q: Can I register on race day?
A: Yes

Q: Is there a registration deadline?
A: Yes! Online registration closes on May 16th. In-person registration is available on race day for an increased rate of $50.

Q: What time should I arrive?
A: We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the race starts to allow time for parking, warm-up, and check-in.

Q: Where should I park?
A: Please utilize the parking garages listed on the race website. 

Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: As much as we love our furry friends, we ask that you please leave them at home. 

Q: Will there be water stations on the course?
A: Yes, water stations will be available along the route and at the start/finish area.

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The race is a rain-or-shine event. However, in the case of extreme weather, updates will be communicated via email and social media.
