Celebrate 20 years of the Scrub Jay Races! Start on the road then enjoy the scenic trails of mostly packed sand and grass. Course guides and water stations along a well-marked course through the park’s rare, scrubby flat-woods, with a stretch on the paved Legacy Trail and finish in the park at the Finisher's Village
Your registration includes a locally printed participant shirt, professional chip timing, and a great post-race party with race awards and door prizes. PLUS free admission to Oscar Scherer State Park...come for the race, plan for a day at the park!
And this year Oscar Scherer State Park is host to the Scrub Jay Festival. The Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can stay at the park or return for the Festival and with your 2020 5K or 10K race bib be re-admitted to the park free of charge (only good for Saturday, January 11, 2020!)
ALL finishers, 5K and 10K, will receive the custom 20th anniversary edition finisher's medal!

Pre-Registration for the 5K or 10K: Under 5 - Free; Ages 6 to 13 only $5; Ages 14 to 18 only $15 (Youth Pricing applied automatically during checkout, Club discounts do not apply to Youth Pricing)
Race morning Registration for the 5K or 10K: Under 5 - $5; Ages 6 to 13 - $10; Ages 14 to 18 - $20
Registration fees are non-refundable and not transferable. 100% of your entrance fees benefit the Friends of Oscar Scherer Park, Inc. a 501 (c)3 and the threatened Florida scrub-jay. Friends of Oscar Scherer Park supports the park through charitable, scientific, literary and educational functions, and through programs, activities, and fundraising to foster awareness of its importance as an environmental and recreational asset and to assist in conserving its natural and cultural resources.
