Thankful Turkey Half Marathon & 5K

T-Shirt Deadline: All athlete registered by our Oct 28th Shirt deadline are guaranteed the shirt in their size on race day.  A small number of additional shirt sizes will be ordered, and will be in the runsignup.com shirt inventory.  Once a size inventory has been depleted, you will no longer be able to select that size during registration.  

Personalization Deadline:  Be sure to register by Nov 1st midnight and you will receive a personalized race bib with your name on it.

Age group award certificates will be emailed to the top three men and the top three women in the following age groups:
0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 Plus

AWARD GLASSES WILL ALSO BE PRESENTED TO TOP 3 IN EACH AGE GROUP

Description: All races start under the Second Wind Arch located to the side of the Nocatee stage.

Half Marathon Turn by Turn Notes

*Turns are marked with arrows on signs, and small soccer cones.

*Start from the Nocatee Spray Park Stage area/field

*.5 Mile/ Water Station #1 – Turn right, continuing onto Nocatee Greenway.  Runners will do this out and back only once.

*1M – Shortly after the one mile marker runners will turn right into a residential area.  Run on the roadways when in a residential area, facing traffic.  After about a ¼ mile runners will turn right again, and finally hit a turn around in a cul-de-sac.  Runners return from the cul-de-sac all the way back to water station #1

*When runners return to water station #1 they turn right, and continue through the Nocatee Greenway.  When the Greenway ends, runners turn right and travel south on the Crosswater Parkway.  Runners stay on the east side of Crosswater Pkw, always on the extra wide walking walking path.

*Near Mile 5, runners use the crosswalk to pass through the vehicle round-a-bout, and then continue north on Crosswater on the running path.

*Runners will hit the second round-a-bout.  We are using the cross walk a few hundred hards in from the round about to cross the street.  Keep going north on Crosswater.

*Runners will follow the path all the way to to the Pine Island Academy School where the path turns right.

*Runners will come to settlers pond where they will turn left and go around the pond approx 3/4 of the way to a turn around point.  From there Runners will retrace their course all the way back into the Greenway.

*At the 3 way intersection in the greenway, runners will go straight through, and the finish line will be just .5 Miles away.  *Runners DO NOT retrace their the part of the course that took them into Willow Cove.

Mile .5,  2.9 & 12.6  (3 way intersection in the Greenway)
Mile 5.25 & 10.3 (after the 1st Round About)
Mile 6.9 & 8.7 (Near Pine Island & Race Potty)

*There is one potty on the course at Mile 6.9/8.7 Near the Pine Island School.

At 9pm 5K Runners will start  under the start/finish arch.  The 5K course will have a water station at the 3 way intersection in the Nocatee Greenway.
