The St. Petersburg Heroes 2025 Downtown 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile at Colony Grill With Free Beer And Pizza Post Race Party

Join us Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 9:00 am at Colony Grill in downtown St. Petersburg for the annual HOT OIL 10K, 5K, & 1 mile run/walk benefitting the St. Petersburg Heroes Foundation.

After a HUGE success in 2024, the St. Pete Heroes Hot Oil Run has been proven that our downtown course, as well as a festive post-race party, will be a STAPLE event in March of 2025 right in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg beginning and ending at Colony Grill with a street closure and amazing course excellent for all levels of runners and walkers at any distance offered. Race check in is event day only and all participants are encouraged to park as close as possible to Colony Grill, 670 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, FL 33701. An email will go out the day before the event with your assigned bib number, waiver to participate, and parking and arrival instruction for a quick and efficient check in process.

This annual event is brought to you by The Heroes Foundation of St. Petersburg to benefit the Tampa Bay community through law enforcement and fire rescue. The Foundation sees the families in need and they are quick to help throughout the year. Your participation is vital to this annual success and we’ve got AMAZING bling at the finish line each year to thank you with an entirely new finisher’s medal celebrating the red, white, and blue, and all those who make a daily decision to keep us safe from harm’s way. The mission of the Heroes of the St. Pete Police and Fire, Inc. is to honor St. Petersburg police officers and firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty and to provide financial support to assist police officers, firefighters and their families during a crisis or tragedy. Their partner in this annual run, Colony Grill, is an 85-year-old restaurant brand known for its family-friendly tavern settings, gracious hospitality, and singular focus on unique and highly acclaimed pizza, showcases a Wall of Heroes at all its restaurant locations, displaying framed portraits of veterans and first responders. Colony Grill has also raised nearly $500,000 since 2011, hosting numerous community road races in support of men and women who serve in uniform, both at home and abroad.
