Description
Put on your running shoes and join Delta Nu Zeta for our 5K Run/Walk for a cause to support local animals in need.
This pet-friendly event benefits The Good Karma Project, a Tallahassee nonprofit dog rescue founded in 2022 by Dr. Contessa Bowman. The organization is dedicated to rescuing vulnerable dogs from local and rural shelters, especially those in need of urgent medical care.
The 5K will take place on November 22nd at 9 a.m. The race will start near the Korean War Memorial in Cascades Park. Whether you’re running, walking, or bringing your dog along, your participation helps give these dogs a second chance at life.
If you can’t attend in person, you can still support the cause by donating or joining our virtual 5K. Virtual runners will receive a digital race packet after submitting their results.
