Join us on Friday, April 19, 2019 in beautiful Centennial Park, as we close down the streets of Ybor City for our 2019 Night Race! Roar Through Ybor is a 5K race and one-mile Fun Run that raises funds to support the innovative ocular endeavors of the Lions Eye Institute for Transplant and Research.
All registered participants receive an exclusive dri-fit race t-shirt, finisher medal, food, wine and beer!
After the race, join us for the Awards Ceremony where the top 3 male and female runners in 15 age categories (ages 4-14 and up to 80+) and overall, will receive their placement medals. Also enjoy local food, wine and beer at the post-race celebration in Centennial Park!

Why: Roar Through Ybor – Race for Sight benefits the mission of the Lions Eye Institute Foundation to:
· Enable our Ocular Research Center to conduct research to prevent, arrest or delay the progression of blinding eye diseases.
· Support the process by which we recover and ensure that ocular tissue is safe for transplantation.
· Transform lives by ensuring that all individuals who need a corneal transplant can receive one regardless of their ability to afford the sight-saving surgery.

Additional Information: Participants can pick up their shirts, bibs, and drink bracelets (21+). You are able to pick up packets for others, but any lost t-shirts cannot be replaced the night of the race
You can also pick-up race packets before the race on Friday, April 19th at Check-In, beginning at 6:00 PM in Centennial Park.

Race dri-fit t-shirts and finisher medals will be mailed the week of April 8th to all Run From Home participants.

Registrations for Roar Through Ybor - Night Race for Sight on April 19th are FINAL and cannot be switched into the virtual Run From Home.
Registrants of the Roar Through Ybor 5K race or 1 mile fun-fun on April 19th, 2019 must be present to receive race giveaways including finisher medals and t-shirts. If you are unexpectedly unable to attend the night of the race, you are not guaranteed these items.
Refunds are not available for Roar Through Ybor - Night Race for Sight. All registration fees benefit the mission of the Lions Eye Institute Foundation to set new standards for ocular endeavors that will improve visual outcomes and quality of life for those who are blind or visually impaired.
