What is Global Free Them 5k?

The Global Free Them 5K is a virtual walk/run to help end child trafficking.

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, people around the world will walk or run 5 kilometers from their own neighborhoods, trails, or treadmills to raise awareness and funds to protect the most vulnerable.

It’s global. It’s virtual. It’s powerful.

You can participate from anywhere. Whether you're walking solo, gathering your church group, or leading a team, every step you take helps prevent human trafficking.

How It Works:

  • Register online as an individual or team
  • Walk or run 5K on July 26 (wherever you are)
  • Raise funds to protect children from exploitation

In just six months, World Concern reached nearly 87,000 children, women, and men with training and tools to stop trafficking before it starts.

This isn’t just a race. It’s a movement of justice, compassion, and hope.

How You'll Help

Where Your Impact Reaches

Your steps reach communities in some of the most vulnerable, hard-to-reach places in the world. These are areas where poverty, isolation, and limited opportunities put children at risk. While we don’t publicly name every location for safety reasons, your support goes exactly where it’s needed most, bringing protection, dignity, and lasting change.

Where You'll Help

Where You'll Help

You will protect children, youth, and women in corridors of trafficking—the poorest, most vulnerable and overlooked villages in Asia. These areas are often that are located near porous borders where traffickers can easily cross with victims. When you give, members of these communities will be empowered with knowledge to prevent traffickers and connected to authorities for help should a child or youth be trafficked.
