Description
This race is to honor the legacy and memory of Joshua Sampson. Quick to lend a helping hand or quiet support to family and friends, Josh never expected accolades or recognition. He marveled people with his dry wit and creative problem-solving. Josh enjoyed music of all genres, constantly finding new artists which he eagerly shared. Passionate about education, Josh was a dedicated Cedar Shoals teacher and scheduler, chosen as Teacher of the Year in 2016. Josh’s legacy lives on through the lives he has touched. Be Good To Each Other.
Registration Fees
Register by January 18, 2024, registration fee is $20.00.
Register after January 18, 2024 and through race day, registration fee is $25.00.

Course
The 5K will start and finish at Cedar Shoals High School. The race will run down Cedar Shoals road, through an adjacent neighborhood and return to the school.
Virtual Option
You may run your 3.1 miles anywhere. Keep track of your time and submit it on this page under the RESULTS TAB.
Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards.
There is a No Shirt option for a $5.00 discount at time of payment.
Awards
Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups:
5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 - 79 and 80 and Over

What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
