We appreciate your interest and support for the 2nd Annual Project Gabriela Race For Babies! Hosted by The Gabriela Grace Foundation.
Project Gabriela's Why
This race was created with the mission to honor Gabriela’s name and to create a legacy in her memory that will have the impact of a lifetime. Even though her life was cut short, her fingerprints will still leave a mark on this world.
Project Gabriela's Mission
Our mission is to share Gabriela’s story and the stories of others who have experienced perinatal loss. We want families to understand this is not something they have to face alone. Our goal is to raise awareness and unite parents and families affected by perinatal loss or navigating the difficult journey of having a premature baby.
As part of this year's event, a portion of the proceeds will go towards providing support to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory Decatur NICU, two organizations dedicated to the care and well-being of newborns and their families. Through this partnership, we aim to extend Gabriela’s legacy by helping even more families receive the nurturing care they deserve.
Our event is focused on coming together to build community, hope, and strength, while honoring all the lives lost, by running or walking for those who won’t get the chance to. The Project Gabriela Race For Babies 5K is professionally chip timed with live online results. Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome.
The Gabriela Grace Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The Project Gabriela Race For Babies is a USATF certified course.
REFUNDS
No refunds or transfers from person-to-person. While we understand schedules change and things come up, we have a strict no-refund and transfer policy. Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to extreme conditions such as weather. Race is a rain or shine event. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of the race cancellation due to “Acts of God" or things outside of the control of the Race Director.
Virtual 5K
Would you love to support our cause or run/walk in honor of a loved one, but can’t join us in person ? You can still support by signing up for the virtual race option.
Shipping is available for virtual participants that are a part of the first 250 registered participants that will receive a commemorative shirt and medal.
**Only participants that receive a commemorative shirt and medal will receive the same kit that in-person participants receive. Race kits will be shipped out ~2 weeks prior to raceday.
**Domestic shipping only**
Out of State Virtual Registration received after September 5, 2025, cannot be guaranteed a race kit by September 13, 2025.
In-state Georgia residents Virtual Registration received after September 12, 2025, cannot be guaranteed a race kit by September 13, 2025.

A Commemorative Shirt and Medal are guaranteed only to the first 250 participants who register(in person or virtual). Due to shirt sizing inventory, there may be a chance you may qualify to receive a shirt but not a medal. We truly hope you’ll be among those who receive these special items!

Crew Cup!
Calling all friend groups, companies, clubs, and families — we’re hosting a contest for the largest team at this year’s race! We’re incredibly grateful for the big groups who rally together to support our mission — and we want to celebrate you! The team with the most members will take home a special trophy and some well-earned bragging rights.
*Eligible members must be registered online under the same team name.
Style on the Run-way!
Let’s make race day even more fun! We’re holding a Team Costume Contest for those who want to bring the flair and show some creativity. Whether you’re matching in tutus or going full superhero squad, we want to see your style shine.
The best-dressed team will be awarded a trophy (presented to the team captain), and eternal glory in our event photos. Have fun with it — the bolder, the better!
Race Kit Pick Up
We're excited to announce that Race Kit pick-up for all in-person participants of the Project Gabriela Race for Babies will be held at Road Runner Sports. Your race kit will include: Race bib, commemorative race shirt and additional materials courtesy of our amazing sponsors.

We're a Peachtree Qualifier!
We’re proud to announce that the Project Gabriela Race for Babies is now an official Atlanta Track Club Peachtree Road Race qualifying event! This means your time in our 5K can help you secure a spot in the 2026 Peachtree Road Race. It’s a great opportunity to run for a cause while working toward Atlanta’s biggest running tradition.
