This will be the 24th Annual Brooklet Peanut Run 5k. This race will be held on the 3rd Saturday in August (August 17, 2024) and will begin at 7:15 A.M. The location of the race will be at the Brooklet Elementary School - 600 West Lane Street Brooklet, GA. The awards ceremony will be in front of the school at 8:30 A.M.
The actual Peanut Festival has been moved to the third Saturday in September, however we have kept the 5k race on what was the original date of the Peanut Festival which was the 3rd Saturday of August.
The 5k run is hosted by the Southeast Bulloch High School Cross Country Team(s). This is a fundraiser to help with travel costs within the season and also assist with the purchasing of uniforms and other team equipment and supplies.
PRICING: Early Bird special for those signing up before July 7th the cost will be $20. Beginning July 7th, 2024 the price will be $25. Everyone signing up prior to August 6th will be guaranteed a T-Shirt. Beginning on August 6th the price will increase to $30. and anyone signing up on or after August 6th will NOT be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
Online registration will be cut off at 12:01 P.M. on August 16th, 2024.
Packet Pickup:
Friday, August 16 from 4 P.M. Until 7:00 P.M. in front of Brooklet Elementary School.
Saturday, August 17th from 6:00 A.M. until 7:00 A.M. @ Brooklet Elementary School.
Last Chance Registration is available at packet pickup at a cost of $30.
This years’ race will be limited to 400 runners.
About the Run & Course: This year's race will be on the 3rd Saturday of August. The run goes through the picturesque streets of Brooklet, GA. The course is flat & fast. The course will be well marked and guided by a lead bicycle. It is imperative that all participants wear their assigned race bib# on their front and visible at all times as timing will be by this number.
