The Fast and the Furriest Fun Run

Leash up your furry friends and let's get moving! Welcome to Easel's First Annual Fast and the Furriest Run! This event will take place over one week from September 18-25.

This event will be entirely virtual, so distance covered will matter more than speed. Log your steps or connect your fitness tracker (Fitbit, Apple watch, or phone app) to monitor your progress here on our web page, and watch how far you can go to raise money for animals in need.  ❤️ Invite friends and family to compete as well, and bringing your furry friends along for the ride is encouraged! If you live your life 'a quarter mile at a time,' as Vin Diesel says, than this is the run for you!

F.A.Q.

Q: Where does this event take place?
A: Anywhere you'd like! As this race is completely virtual, you and your pets can walk, run, or stroll around your own neighborhood, on your own schedule. As long as you log your progress for the day, you can take this race wherever your paws may lead.

Q: How do I log my steps?
A:  You can manually enter your progress here on the results tab of our website, or connect and upload data from your fitness tracker. For more information, check out the helpful tips and tutorials available here. 

Q: Are there prizes?
A:  The top performers from each of the male and female categories will receive a one-of-a-kind Easel backpack with our logo elegantly embroidered into the fabric, graciously donated by Trenton Joe & Sons! 

Q: If we're manually entering our times, how will we confirm a winner?
A:  This fundraising event is all about having fun while raising money and awareness for our animals in need, and won't be judged like a traditional competition.The animals you help along the way are the true winners!  To be eligible for the prize backpacks, however, you will need to provide the data from a reliable fitness tracking device or app so that we can fairly distribute prizes.
