10th Annual Viking Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Get ready to celebrate 10 years of the Viking Turkey Trot! Join us on Saturday, November 9th for this spirited event benefiting St. Anne-Pacelli's Cross Country and Soccer teams. Over the past decade, the Viking Turkey Trot has become a beloved, fall event, drawing runners, walkers, students, families, and alumni together for a morning of fun!

Both the 5K course weaves through campus and along our perimeter, while our Fun Run offers a shorter, family-friendly option, perfect for little trotters or those looking to enjoy a beautiful, brisk morning and a leisurely pace. Whether you're a seasoned runner, or just here for the fun, this event always kicks off the holiday season with festive fun!

Wear your best turkey-themed, or Viking, attire, enjoy post-race treats, and help us celebrate this milestone year! Be a part of this decade-long tradition of community and support for our student-athletes!

There are three registration options: 

1. 1 Mile Fun Run 4-18 years old (participants 3 and under are free)

2. 1 Mile Fun Run 19+ years old

3. 5K All Ages

Registering by October 30th ensures your event participant t-shirt! If you register on or after October 31st, there are select sizes available for purchase of $10 at packet pick up and on the day of the race.

Turkey Trot Banner Sponsor $150 

(includes one race registration as well as business logo or name printed on the event banner)

Turkey Trot T-Shirt Sponsor $400

(includes two race registrations, business logo or name printed on the event banner and event t-shirt, the opportunity to share promotional items with runners in race bags, as well as recognition on site, in written, print, and online communications and marketing)

Race Results, Prizes, and Pictures
Prizes for this year's race include a medal and turkey to the overall top male and female, as well as top participant (male and female) in all age groups - 12 & under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-59, and 50 & over age groups. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age group (male and female) will receive a medal.

Day-of-the-Race Information

• Please park in the school's/church's Kay Circle parking lot.
• Day-of Packet Pick-Up, and day of Race Registration, will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
• Jambalaya, fruit, treats, and drinks will be available for all participants as well concluding their race.
• The course is marked at intervals with signs and guidance along the roadways.
