This Event will be this Friday, April 26th!
Grab your glow sticks...We're taking over downtown Dawsonville, GA for a 5K when the lights go out...and it's going to be great!
Mark your calendar for Friday April 19 at 8:00 pm. We have a great 5K course filled with tons of music & Glow. It'll be loads of fun, and If you're interested in going fast, we'll have awards for that too (Overall M/F, Master's Overall M/F, and the top 3 in all the usual age groups 10 & Under - 75+).

Entry & Registration Fees
Dawson County Students, Teachers, & Staff...FREE (option to purchase a T-shirt for $10)
Parents, Friends, Family, & Community Members...$25 (includes race shirt T-shirt registration is received by 4/14).
Race day registrations are welcome for $5 more.
Event Beneficiary
The event is being organized by the Dawson County Schools' Wellness Program. The goal of the event is to promote student health awareness. This will be a free event for all Dawson County School students. All other registration fees will go toward covering the cost of the event.
Course, Timing, & Event Cap
The Let's Glow 5K course is fast and fun! There are a couple of easy hills, and there will be lots of people to cheer you on to the finish line! We will be chip timing everyone, so if you're looking for a PR, you should get a great net chip time.
There is an event cap. 1500 participants is all we can have and still guarantee everyone a safe, good time.
We've got Early Packet Pickup scheduled so save time on race day!

Shirts & Goodies
All 5K participants ($25 entry) registered by March 3rd are guaranteed a race shirt in their size. Any registrations after April 14th will receive a shirt while supplies last.

Custom awards will be presented in the following areas:

- Overall Master M/F (40 yrs+)
- Overall Grand Master M/F (50 yrs+)
- Overall Senior Master M/F (60+)
- Top 3 in each of the usual age groups (10 & under - 75+).

Five Star Turkey Trot & 5K Championships
- All participants earn a free entry to the Five Star Turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning.
- Top finishers will also earn a spot in the Five Star 5K Championships held in January 2020. See event website for complete details.

Event Courtesy & Refund Policy
- Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
- All registrations are final, we're sorry, but there are no transfers, deferments, and refunds.
- Race will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, the event may cancel, in which case there are no refunds.
