💬 "Many a journey from Georgia to Maine starts right here. So does the next version of you."
— Cliff "Bushwacker" · IronHike Co-Founder
IronHike is a veteran-owned elevation-based endurance event Series now at Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, Georgia. Your only real competitor is the version of you who almost didn't sign up.
You won't go up alone, but the climb is still yours. It's you against the Staircase and you against yesterday's version of yourself. Nobody else's finish line matters here. Just what you're willing to earn.

IronHike Endurance Productions is a veteran-owned elevation-based endurance event Series held every Fall at Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, Georgia (GA), at the official gateway to the 2,197-mile Appalachian Trail. Denali's Trail Buddy FlexRelay is IronHike's Ultra Trail Marathon Relay, the Staircase's true multi-day proving ground for two Mountain Athletes ready to go beyond a single sunrise together. This Event runs on No Shortcuts as a team: 51 Miles and 48 Hours, splitting 1,208 stairs per lap (604 up, 604 down) on the AT Approach Trail staircase across two days and two nights with zero shortcuts, built for buddying up. IronHike is a self-powered Everesting alternative and 29029 alternative in the Southeast, offering elevation-based staircase events from 12 hours to 84 hours, 6,644 to 72,480 feet of vertical gain. This is not a race endurance event: there is no podium, no age group awards, and no finish line prize. Mountain Athletes compete Solo, as a Trail Buddy pair, or as a Trail Family of four using our FlexRelay format, with athletes from 30 states and 3 countries and counting.
