Lisa Henry Memorial 5K

The Women in Aviation "Heart of Georgia" Chapter at Middle Georgia State University is hosting a 5K in memory of Ms. Lisa Henry. Ms. Henry was the founder of Women in Aviation at Middle Georgia and was the advisor for many years. She passed away from cancer fall of 2021 and we are honoring her by having this 5k. From the money we raise, we will donate 25% of the proceeds to cancer research. We will host the 5k on the taxiways at the Heart of Georgia Regional airport in Eastman Georgia. The race will be on April 23rd at 8 am. Please arrive at 7:30 for registration. The race fee is $30 and that will include a T-shirt. You must be registered by April 1st to be guaranteed a shirt. We will order extra shirts but it is first come first serve the morning of the race. This is a great opportunity to get to be at an airport and run on the taxiways while getting to see airplanes take off and land!

REMINDER: Race will BEGIN at 8 AM so please arrive at 7:30 to receive your shirt and bib.
