Come out to the 19th Annual Run for the Son 5K, Tot Trot and FUN RUN.
If you sign up 3 or more people during registration, each registrant will receive a $2 discount!
Race Day Schedule
7AM - Race Day Registration and packet pickup begins
8:15AM - 5K and Fun Run start
9:20AM - Tot Trot starts
9:30 - Award Ceremony
Course
This is a double loop course around the mountain town of Ellijay GA
The race starts and finishes at the Scout Hut near Ellijay Elementary School
Awards
Awards given to:
Overall Male and Female
Overall Masters Male and Female
3 deep in 5 year age groups beginning with 10 and under up to 75 and over
Shirts and Goodies
Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 4/27/25. Those who register after that date and on race day will receive shirts while supplies last.
There will be plenty of refreshments.
Timing and Results
The race will be accurately timed by BT Race Timing. This race WILL NOT be chip timed. Please fill out the finish card, handed to you as you finish. Put your name, age, bib number and gender on the card, no need to put your time. Please turn in your card at the results boards for it to be posted. Failure to turn in your card will prohibit you from receiving an award on race day. Complete results will be posted to RunSignUp.com, BTRaceTiming.com, Athlinks.com and RunGeorgia.com after the race
Parking
There will be plenty of free parking at Ellijay Elementary, Harrison Park and the nearby church.
Other Information and Refunds
In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds for any reason.
