Escape the Elves 5K

1. Join us for The Escape the Elves 5K hosted by South Hall Rotary Club in Downtown Oakwood, GA.  This fun-filled morning will feature a chance to hang out with Santa before the race and it gives his pesky elves plenty of time to hide along the course!  Be sure to look out for a few mischievous elves along the way!  Dress for the season and you may find the chance to open a gift early as we will award the most festive outfit at the event.  The run will kick off at the Oakwood Community Center! The 5K course is USATF Certified!

• Race Day Packet Pick-up from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM at the Community Center
• Event Starts at 8:30 AM with Santa sending us off from Oakwood Park and will feature pictures with Santa before, during, and after the event. 
• 5K Begins at 8:30 AM (Course closes at 9:45) 
• Fun Run will begin after the start of the 5K at 8:45
• Awards at the park from will begin at 10:00 AM
• All runners and family are invited to take part in the Pancakes with Buddy and Santa that proceed the race in the Community Center. 

Bring a can of Food Goods for the South Hall Food Pantry and get a raffle ticket for door prizes. Peanut Butter, Snacks, and things kids can enjoy over the break are appreciated.  1 Food Item = 1 Ticket.

We can't wait to see you as we celebrate the holiday season and support some great causes.  The proceeds from this year's race will go toward supporting the South Hall Food Pantry, Lanier Tech's Adult Education Scholarships, Hall is Home for Kids, Shelterbox, and Alzheimer's Research through Rotary's CART Fund in addition to benefiting the South Hall Rotary's S.H.A.R.E Fund through the North Georgia Community Foundation to support other community causes in South Hall throughout the year.
