Description
This great 5K/10K/10K Relay / Fun Run benefits PruittCares - Camp Cocoon, which is a bereavement camp for children ages 6-17. The camp offers the children a safe environment to talk about their loved ones, ask counselors and medical professionals any questions they may have or just to let loose and enjoy the normal summer camp activities. Our hope is that this event can provide that same opportunity to adults in the community; a chance to wear something to honor a loved one that has passed away, talk to others who might have gone through similar experiences or just a chance to get together with friends and neighbors to compete on fast course, set a new PR or just to run or walk to raise money for good cause. All proceeds will go to offsetting the cost of the camp and sponsoring children to attend Camp Cocoon at no cost.

PARKING LOCATIONS
Course
The 5K Course is USATF Certified and is an official Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifying event.
The course will run on open streets in front of the park. During the race the streets will be closed to traffic. The start and finish are at the same location in the middle the course. The course is an out and back on each side of the Start / Finish line.
THE 10K and 10K RELAY will run the 5K course twice. In the relay, each relay member will run 1 loop. At the conclusion of the 1st loop there will be a relay exchange zone where the 1st runner will pass the relay belt to the 2nd runner to begin the 2nd loop. Relay belts will be provided at packet pickup.
Awards
5K / 10K Individual Participant Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female, GrandMasters Male/Female and1st, 2nd and 3rd in the following Male / Female Age Groups:
5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Over
Relay teams will be awarded Overall Relay team awards to the 1st three teams to finish the relay.
Finishing medals will be given to all Participants.
5K / 10K Virtual Option
Run your 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles) anywhere. Submit your finish time by clicking on the RESULTS tab at the top of this page. Submit finish times beginning 03/01/25 through 03/29/25 no later than 12 noon. To submit a virtual time you must be registered as a virtual runner.
Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards or t-shirts.
Race Series and Finishline Management
The 5K/10K Run to Remember is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series and the Clover Glove Race Series.
Finish line management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.
What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
