Overcome the Challenge – Inaugural “The Challenge” Race 5K!

Join us on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the beautiful Alexander Park for the very first The Challenge Race! More than just a run, this event is a celebration of grit, growth, and community. Whether you’re a first-time 5K runner or a seasoned racer, you’ll be tested and inspired on a scenic, hilly course that winds through the park’s picturesque trails.

This race is one stop on the exciting We Run Gwinnett! Race Series, bringing together runners from across Gwinnett County. The series features diverse courses, incredible community energy, and friendly competition.

Run multiple races throughout the year—each with its own challenge and character.
Earn points for race finishes, placements, and participation.
Compete for series awards, including recognition for top performers and consistent participants.

Packet Pick-Up / Race Day Registration: Race morning, 6:30–7:25 AM at the Alexander Park Pavilion

Top Overall M/F Winners
Top 3 M/F in each age group: 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–74, 75–80, 81+
(Awards will not be mailed. If you must leave early, please collect your award from the awards table before departing.)

Registration & Pricing

Early Bird – Now through August 24, 2025: $35 (includes guaranteed shirt & medal)
Standard – August 25 to Race Day: $25 (shirt not guaranteed)

Race Day Registration: $25 – No guaranteed shirt. Remaining shirts will be distributed after the race if available.

Time Cut-Off
Official results close at 9:00 AM (90 minutes after the 7:30 AM start).

Finisher’s Medal for all runners.
Shirt Guarantee: Must register by August 24.
No Shirt Option: Choose a reduced registration fee—no early or post-race shirt pickup allowed. If extras remain, you may purchase one after the race.
