Just Another F.A.D. 5K

Just Another F.A.D. 5K™ is a 5K to honor the everyday Fibro Fighters - those who fight through their days even though they suffer from Fibromyalgia. F.A.D. or Fibromyalgia Awareness Day is observed on May 12th every year, and this year we want to build awareness about this illness through our first annual 5k. 

Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder that is defined by widespread body pain as the primary symptom. And according to the National Fibromyalgia Association website, "most people with Fibromyalgia also experience moderate to severe fatigue, sleep disturbances, sensitivity to touch, light, and sound, and cognitive difficulties. Many individuals also experience a number of other symptoms and overlapping conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome, Migraines, and Interstitial Cystitis".
