24th Annual Run for Angels: Run for a Cause!
 

Lace up your shoes for the children of Angel's House! For 24 years, our community has supported Newnan-Coweta Angel's House, Inc., a licensed community-based children's shelter providing vital services and more than 40,000 restful nights to hundreds of foster children removed from dire situations of abuse and neglect.

The Run for Angels 5k/10k Road Race and Fun Run on Saturday, February 7, 2026, is our sole fundraising event. Your participation directly supports the children who call Angel's House home!

Race Details & Registration

Join us for a beautiful certified course through historic downtown Newnan, GA. The start/finish line is on Salbide Ave, next to the First United Methodist Church Parish Hall.

T-SHIRTS: You must be registered by January 17, 2026, to be guaranteed a race t-shirt!

*Walkers and strollers are welcome, but absolutely no pets on the course or in the Parish Hall.

Schedule & Logistics

Race Location: First United Methodist Church Parish Hall, Newnan, Georgia (Start/Finish on Salbide Ave).

7:00am- Race day registration and packet pick-up

8:00am- Fun Run Start

8:15am- Warm-up

8:20am- AH Talk/National Anthem/Prayer

8:30am- 5K/10K Start

9:30am- Awards

9:30am-12:30pm Chicken Q Service

Packet Pick-up:

Early Pick-up: Friday, February 6, 2026, from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Newnan First United Methodist Church Parish Hall (33 Greenville St, Newnan).
Race Day: Starting at 7:00 am on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
 
 

Awards & Group Registration

Our races use the latest RFID chip-timing technology for accurate, instant results.

Awards:
Overall M/F finishers and Overall M/F Masters finishers for both the 5K and 10K.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in age groups from 10 & under to 75 & over.

Group Registration: Schools, organizations, and companies are encouraged to register as a group! A prize will be awarded to the top team with the most participation. Be sure to join your team when registering!

Sponsor: 100% of your tax-deductible sponsorship donation goes directly to Angel's House, as entry fees sustain the run itself. Our sponsorship chairs would love to hear from you!

Enjoy a Chicken Q: Ellison's Chicken Q is BACK! Tickets are $17.50 (includes chicken, two sides, bread, dessert, and a drink). Pick up/drive-thru is from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm. Purchase tickets from a board member.
