FCA Family!

The biggest event of the year is finally approaching!  We listened to your feedback over the last two years and we've decided to make a BIG CHANGE! Get ready to get colorful and show us your best dance moves at our DJ station on the course! There is a lot of information in this email so please reach out with any questions.

Registration Dates: February 5 - February 23

Event Date: March 21, 2025

Time: 5:30-8:00 (Grade start times will be sent closer to event date)

For the first time, family and friends will be able to register and participate in our Color Run! This is the family and friends registration If you register by February 23rd, you will receive a t-shirt just like your student(s). Anyone that registers after February 23rd may participate but will not receive a t-shirt. This event is not open to the public so please do not share this link

We will have 2 different Color Run courses this year:

Course 1 
This will be a fun run course similar to the preschool course the last two years.  We will separate by grade and they can run in that specific time slot to keep it safe. They can run as many laps as they'd like in that time frame and if you register, you can run with them! After the separate K2, K3 and K4 time slots are over, it will be an open run for anyone older who doesn't want to run the longer course. Start times will be posted closer to the event in another email.   

Course 2
This is the new addition everyone has been asking for!  We will have a 5k course on campus for anyone willing to run/walk more than the fun run course. Just like the fun run course, if family and friends register, they may participate in the 5k course. This specific 5k course will consist of (3) laps totaling 3.2 miles around our entire campus.  Whether you want to run/walk 1, 2 or all 3 laps is up to you. Being a fun event, don't feel obligated to run/walk the whole 3.2 miles because every lap will cross the start/finish line. We will have a water station during the 5k course. This will not be a timed event because it's all about having fun and making memories! 

As always, color will be thrown throughout both courses.  The colored powder is food grade cornstarch colored by FDA approved food coloring.  It is safe and washable off clothing.  We will also have a water station during the 5k course. 

When you complete the race, there will be pizza and snacks provided for all participants. We will also have food trucks on site with food/desserts for purchase.  We will have plenty of bottled water throughout the campus for everyone as well.

This is a tailgate style event so please bring chairs and/or blankets for you and your family.

T-shirts will be passed out to all prior to the event. Dates and times will be emailed out with that information when we get closer to the event. 

We suggest bringing a change of clothes for your runner just in case they have too much fun and get dirty.

Last and definitely not least, DON'T FORGET BUG SPRAY!
