September 16th, 8am the Top Ladies of Distinction and Top Teens of America will host a 5k to raise money and awarenss for Sickle Cell. You are invited to join us at JF Gregory for a fun walk or run through the park. T-Shirt is include, strollers and walkers are welcome, pets are allowed and post food is included.

Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated (TLOD) was charted in Tyler, TX on September 8, 1964. TLOD is a non-profit 501(c) (3) educational, professional, humanitarian organization. The organization’s mission is Serving Youth and Adults which reflects our five programmatic thrusts: Top Teens of America, Senior Citizens, Status of Women, Community Beautification, and Community Partnerships. Our project areas include National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), United Negro College Fund (UNCF), Sickle Cell, Literary, and the March of Dimes. On July 12, 2014, Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated chartered the Bryan-Liberty Counties Chapter. On November 22, 2014 the chapter inducted 14 teens into the Bryan-Liberty Counties Chapter of Top Teens of America. Since the chartering and induction, we have collaborated with community partners like Keep Liberty Beautiful, Adopt-A-Road program, Button-Gwinnett Elementary School, Bryan County Family Connection Center, Family Promise of Bryan County, Liberty County Manna House, and Historic Dorchester Academy. As a 501(c) 3 organization, fundraisers and donations are our primary means of funding and determines the degree to which the Bryan-Liberty Counties Chapter can actively promote community service diplomacy, disburse scholarships, and/or assist in collaborative missions with partnering organizations
