Dance the Winter Blues Away 5k, Walk and Kids Fun Run!

Come help support Two Black Dogs Foundation and Life Moves Dance Company! Race day activities include a basket raffle and silent auction, race shirts, and prizes awarded for best dance inspired costumes! 

About Two Black Dogs Foundation: 

Founded in 2022, Two Black Dogs Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and Georgia licensed rescue dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation through education, financial assistance for spay and neuter, and community outreach. Two Black Dogs Foundation operates a variety of community programs including assistance for spay/neuter, TNR for community cats, a food pantry, and low-cost vaccines and microchipping. Two Black Dogs Foundation has successfully found new homes for over 100 animals since the foundation began. Two Black Dogs Foundation believes that responsible pet ownership is key to creating a better world for animals and their families. Our team is passionate about providing accessible services to all pets, regardless of their background or circumstance. 

About Life Moves Dance Company: 

This season, Life Moves Dance Company consists of 16 local dancers, ranging in age from 8 through 17. Each season, Life Moves Dance Company continues to expand our travels and attendance of conventions and multiple competitions throughout Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. Your participation or donation for the Dance the Winter Blues Away - 5k Walk/Run, 10k, and Kids Fun Run can help our families cover some of the costs associated with building well-rounded dancers, providing vital dance experience at a convention, grow their determination and confidence by competing against other fantastic dancers, and allow each dancer to make memories that will remain with them for years to come.

Bib/packet pickup shall take place at Howe 2 Run Friday prior to the race 11 to 5.  Last minute pickup is at 7am on race day at check-in table.

Race day timeline:

• registration table will open at7am.
• Kids fun run shall begin at 7:30.
• 5K run/walk and 10k starts approximately at 8am following the Kids Fun Run. 
• Silent auction/basket raffle shall close immediately after race concludes and winners will be contacted for prize pickup.
