The 9th Annual Miles for Meals 5K Run/Walk is a great way to have fun, get some exercise, and do good. Bring your dog (on a leash), kids in strollers, dress as your favorite food and help Senior Citizens Inc. (SCI) FIGHT SENIOR HUNGER in our community! 

Race starts at Senior Citizens, Inc. on Bull Street, goes down the picturesque Washington Avenue, through part of Daffin Park and back down Washington Avenue to Senior Citizens, Inc.

Free t-shirt for the first 150 registered participants. To get a guaranteed t-shirt in your preferred size, register by March 1, 2019.
9:00 am 5K Run/Walk

Packet Pickup Friday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, March 23, from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at Senior Citizens, Inc., 3025 Bull Street, Savannah, GA, 31405. 

Awards for Top 3 Males Overall, Top 3 Females Overall, Most Senior Male, Most Senior Female, Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female in 10-year age groups from 10 to 69 and 70 and above, and special recognition for 80 and above.

Awards will be presented immediately following tabulations at Senior Citizens, Inc.

Awards for best food costume and best dressed dog.

You! Yes, you, can be a part of the fight against senior hunger and isolation. And you can have fun, too, at the 9th Annual Miles for Meals 5K! 

Lois enrolled in the Meals on Wheels program before she left the hospital and has since received five meals a week for the past seven years.  Thanks to continued healing and consistent nutrition through SCI’s Meals on Wheels program, Lois feels better than she has in quite some time and is happy to be alive
