The Wilson100 is named after Scott Wilson, one of the past presidents of the Southern Bicycle League who made tremendous contributions to improving cycling in the Atlanta area. Scott Wilson was in his late 30’s when he passed away in September 1986 of cancer. This being the original SBL Century ride that started in the 1970’s was re-named for Scott in 1987.
Senoia Bicycle shop will be open at 6am to help with any repairs or mechanic checks you may need before the ride. Stop by after the ride to say hello and thank them for all of their support and help! You never know what you might find that you absolutely "need" for your cycling collection!
Aztec Cycles will be at Luthersville, the first rest stop for the metric and century rides to help with any cycling needs.
Please make sure you thank all of our wonderful volunteers at the rest stops and doing SAG, as we could not provide a successful ride without them!! And, remember, any family or friends that would like to be a part of the ride without riding can join us, as there is always room for more volunteers.
As you finish your ride you will be able to relax by the beautiful lake and enjoy a most delicious meal prepared by our local Smokehouse BBQ with the best BBQ you'll be sure to appreciate. Then have a cold one, compliments of Line Creek Brewery.
