5K Run with the Dogs!

The 5K Run with the Dogs! is a community fun run and dog walk to help benefit Revitalize Springfield and Coastal Pet Rescue. This run has definitely gone to the dogs - in the best way possible! Registrants are encouraged to bring their 4-legged running partners and enjoy the 5K course through Springfield. All dogs will be officially registered for the run/walk and will receive finisher charms for their collars and bandanas to take home and wear proudly. Every two-legged participant will also receive a finisher medal and t-shirt. Swag will be dog related items and fun treats. Watering stations will be set up along the route and roads will be closed to traffic in congested areas. There will be trophies for our top finishers, as well as a champion prize for the first dog to cross the finish line! We plan to have a rabies clinic available and will be hosting a pet adoption after the race, as well as a blanket and food drive drop off area.

This event will be all about the dogs! 

Not a runner? Walkers are more than welcome - and yes, dog strollers will be allowed on the course for our elderly pets.

Revitalize Springfield is an organization that promotes positive social, economic and aesthetic growth in Springfield, Georgia. Funds from this event will go towards Springfield projects such as upgrades to the Ulmer Ball Park and Downtown Beautification Projects. Coastal Pet Rescue is our partner in this event and will host a pet adoption and food/blanket drive after the race. 

Price changes to $25 at packet pickup and on race day until 7:50am.

5K Run with the Dogs is part of the Springfield Race Series with 2 additional races on 9/3 and 10/1. You can sign up for the last 2 with just one series pass of 35.
