Join us for the 4th Annual Run for Reading 5K hosted by TREAD Academy! This meaningful event is all about raising awareness and support for students who need intensive reading intervention. Every mile you move helps empower a student on their journey to literacy.

Why Run for Reading?
Recent data reveals that only 31% of 4th grade students and 30% of 8th grade students are reading proficiently. That’s a 2% and 1% drop, respectively, from 2022—highlighting a growing literacy crisis.
This event supports students who require targeted, intensive reading intervention. Every dollar raised directly funds programs that give students a chance to achieve grade-level reading and unlock future opportunities.
