Join us on Tybee Island and run to support our nesting sea turtle monitoring program. Starting and finishing at the Tybee pier and pavilion, the run includes a sea turtle release, music, finish line food, shirt, awards for the top finishers, free parking passes for the first 50 runners to sign up.
Registration available at packet pickup Friday and Saturday for additional fee.
In partnership with KIDS CARE, Tybee Clean Beach Volunteers, and the Tybee Island Marine Science Center, there will be a beach clean-up on Friday, April 24 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm to celebrate the 10th birthday of Jaida Burke The clean-up coincides with the packet pick-up for the Turtle Trot, so plan to stay for an hour to clean our beach. Clean-up activities will be set up right outside the Tybee Island Marine Science Center, where you can sign-in, get your clean-up tools and buckets. We will have free parking passes for 20 cars, which must be returned after the clean-up activity. (If needed, you can get hours for community service.)
