Q: What do I need when I pick up my packet? 
A: The easiest way to redeem your packet is by showing us your confirmation email with your unique QR code for the race. If you don't have that, you can just tell our volunteers your name! 

Q: If I pick up my race packet before race day, do I need to do anything on race day?
A: Just remember to bring your race bib!

Q: Where is the start/finish line?
A: The race starts toward the back of the Uncle John's parking area, nearest the corn fields. 
There will be staff there to direct you to the parking and event area.

Q: Is the course timed?
A: Yes, this is a chip-timed race. Your time will start when you cross the start line.

Q: Will the race be held rain or shine?
A: Yes, the race will go on in most weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather, updates will be posted on our Playmakers social media pages as well as race emails.

Q: Are there overall and age group awards?
A: Yes, we will recognize 5K overall and age group winners in the following categories:

• 1st Overall Male and Female - $50 Playmakers gift card
• 1st Overal Male and Female Masters (40+) - $50 Playmakers gift card
• 1st Overall and Female Grand Masters (50+) - $50 Playmakers gift card
• 1st Male and Female Age Group Finisher (groups listed below) - $25 Playmakers gift card
  • 13 & Under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Up

We will also recognize the 1st Overall Boy and Girl in the 1 Mile Kids XC Race with a $25 Playmakers gift card.

Q: What time does the race start?
A: The 5K race starts at 11:00am. The Boo Dash race starts at 12:15pm. The 1 Mile race starts at 12:30pm.
Due to the parking arrangements, we recommend anyone participating in either event plan to arrive no later than 10:40am. 

Q: Can I walk the 5K? Can I walk the 1 Mile?
A: Absolutely! Walkers are welcome. We just ask that you start toward the back for everyone’s safety.

Q: Are strollers or dogs allowed?
A: If you are bringing your furry friend, please plan to keep them leashed. While at Uncle John's Cider Mill, please follow their pet policy. 

If you are participating with a stroller, we recommend starting from the back of the line up to ensure everyone's safety. NOTE: this is a fully off-road course, so it may be a bumpy ride!
