Give a Dog a Job 5k - Benefiting Canine Companions

September 20, 2025 Main Line Brewery | 1603 Ownby Lane Richmond VA

RVA Large Pet Murals Auction

How it works:

We’re thrilled to partner with two exceptionally talented VCU art students who are generously donating their time and creativity to create not one, but two 6-foot by 4-foot pet murals. Each artist will craft a large-scale, custom portrait in their unique style—featuring the beloved pet of two winning bidders.

These murals will be displayed for one year at Main Line Brewery, becoming part of a growing annual exhibit that celebrates the bond between people and their pets. After that year, the winning bidders will have the option to either take their mural home or leave it on display as part of this meaningful collection.

This unique auction benefits Canine Companions, a nonprofit that provides expertly trained service dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities—completely free of charge. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help fund the training and placement of these life-changing dogs. Every bid brings us closer to supporting someone in need with the gift of independence, confidence, and unconditional love.

The winning murals will be unveiled on September 20th during the 7th annual Give a Dog a Job 5K at Main Line Brewery.
