Great River Outfitters and Path of Life Garden
Path of Life: is a crafted landscape open to the public in Windsor, Vermont. Visitors experience the story of the great circle of life while traveling through sculptures of varying sizes and materials. Inspired by a famous garden in Europe, these eighteen works of art symbolize the journey from birth to death and beyond. Since its conception in 1997, the garden has grown on its own path, providing space for recreation, relaxation, contemplation and realization; making it a great destination for families looking for fun things to do around Quechee, Woodstock, and Hanover. The path is also home to some of a 5+ mile trail network.
The garden is located in a 14-acre of field of trails, wildflowers and open spaces on the banks of the Connecticut River. It is enjoyed by people of all ages and was recently featured in Vermont Life and Pastoral Magazine.
We are open for the 2020 Summer Season beginning May 15th. Due to the recent Pandemic we have made some changes to our river trip availability and group sizes. Please read our updated COVID 19 POLICY & PROCEDURES for pertinent information and guidelines for river trips and our COVID 19 Policy & Procedures for the Path of Life Garden. As a family owned company the importance of the health and well-being of our employees, customers and the greater community is always our primary concern. Please follow the CDC guidelines if you are feeling sick, if you're experiencing any symptoms or if you have been around anyone who has been diagnosed. It is up to all of us to ensure the safety of one another and to work together in a safe manner so we may provide you with the best possible experience.
