Lions on the Run 5K

Join us for the Des Moines Christian Lions on the Run 5K, a community race and celebration hosted on the DMC campus. This special event serves as the season finale for our Lions on the Run camp, where 3rd–5th grade students have been training together in faith, fitness, and fun. The 5K gives our young athletes the chance to showcase their hard work while crossing the finish line alongside family, friends, and community members.

All proceeds from the race directly support the Des Moines Christian Athletics and Activities Department, helping provide opportunities, equipment, and experiences for our students across a variety of programs.

Whether you’re running to support a DMC student, chasing a new personal best, or simply enjoying a family-friendly event, this 5K is a celebration of community, perseverance, and school spirit. Come cheer on our Lions, run the course, and be a part of an unforgettable day!
