Description
Join the Our Lady of Mercy Community for our annual 5K race during MercyFest weekend! Funds raised through MercyFest events like the 5K help maintain the Parish Life Center and support various programs for the community. This is a professionally chip-timed event by J3 Timing on a USATF certified course that starts at the MercyFest carnival site and runs through the beautiful Waubonsie Creek Trail.

Post Race Party
Come out and run with us and then stay for the great Post Race Awards party that includes kid friendly snacks, chili, beer and music in the Big Tent.
Team Challenge
Bring the whole family or a grab a group of friends for a little competition with your neighbors! We offer discounted group pricing and we'll be giving medals to the teams with the fastest average times (minimum of 3 runners).
Awards and Age Groups
Plaques and gift cards will be awarded to the top male and female in the 5K.
Medals will be presented to the top three male and female 5K finishers in the each age group.
Medals will be presented to the team with the fastest average time in each team size category.
All runners registered by 9/28/19 will receive a race shirt. (Runners registered after 9/28/19 will receive a race shirt while supplies last).
Age Groups for Awards
10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
Race Day Details and Times
Race Day registration CLOSES at 8:15 AM for the Kids Dash and 8:30 AM for the 5k. No registrations can be accepted after those times.
Race Start times: 8:30 AM for the Kids Dash and 9:00 AM for the 5k (Rain or Shine!)
Post Race Awards Party in the Big Tent at 10:00 AM.
