McCarty Stampede

What is the Stampede?

For over 10 years, McCarty held an annual fundraiser called the “McCarty Stampede”, a walkathon, to raise money for our PTA. This year, we are bringing back the Stampede from 2018 and making it a bigger and better event. It will now be a series of activities & fun obstacle courses like activities for the students, similar to what you may know as "Field Day."

This will take place during the school day, followed by an after school celebration open to all our McCarty families that includes music, food, activities, our vendor sponsors, and a silent auction. 

When do we begin fundraising and when can we collect money until?

Fundraising begins April 12th until race date of May 17th. If you want to guarantee yourself an exclusive Mustang Stampede 2024 T-shirt, you do have to fundraise $10 by April 30th. 

When will the STAMPEDE take place?

The Stampede will take place on Friday, May 17th during a designated time for your student's grade level.

Why participate?

This event is a fundraiser, that is true. But it also a good way to promote good health and activity, an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and a time for student to bond with their friends and other students.

Proceeds from the event will help fund PTA sponsored services, events and activities including student assignment notebooks, field trips, room parties, STEAM fair, musical productions, teacher grants, clubs and so much more.

Raise at least $10 for the event to get you your very own Stampede T-shirt!!!

$10 - $30 - Student receives a Stampede T-shirt, squishy water ball yoyo, and a lunch voucher to Raising Cane’s

$31 - $60 - Student receives a Stampede T-Shirt, squishy water ball yoyo, Stampede decal sticker and a lunch voucher to Raising Cane’s

$60 - $120 - Student receives a Stampede T-Shirt, squishy water ball yoyo, Stampede decal sticker, pencil grip, stress ball, and a lunch voucher to Raising Cane’s

The top 3 fundraising students will be awarded the grand prizes in addition to the prices listed above:

1st Place: Nintendo Switch 

2nd Place:  Amazon gift card $150

3rd Place: Family Outing Gift basket including passes to local attractions  (Centennial Beach, Splash Country Water Park) , gift card to Freedom Brothers, and other goodies 

The top 3 classes to fundraise will also be awarded a party of their choice with help of their teachers.

There will be lots of ways to win other prizes through our raffle drawings...

For every $10 raised, you will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win some great prizes!!!

Will there be a rain date?

There will be no rain date. The activities will be moved indoors for inclement weather.

What do we need from you?

We need your support by asking your family and friends to kindly sponsor you for this event.

Remember, the money we raise GOES BACK to the students and the school.
