Description

After a long weekend overindulging for Thanksgiving, it is time to get off the couch and moving. Let's get things heated up this Winter with a 5K or 10K (2 lap option) trail race. Strong As Oak is partnering up with our friends from Varsity Rush and putting on an old school trail race. This will be the runner and a clock. Gun start and first one that crosses the finish line wins. So line up in the correct group in the coral. This race will be on the trails at Oakhurst Forest Preserve so expect a mix of trail, grass, limestone, asphalt and hills. Each runner will receive a Varsity Rush Medal upon completion. We have limited # of shirts. They will be given out in order of registrations. "First come, First Pick"

This is a kid friendly event for the 5K, but they must be registered and run with an adult. Sign em up

One-mile kids race (Adult can run for free and must accompany the little ones as course does lose sight of start line)
