The Always in Our Hearts 5K is a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring the lives of brothers, Timmy & Patrick Ryan, lost too soon to congenital heart defects. Hosted by the Always in Our Hearts Foundation, this annual run/walk brings together families, friends, and community members to raise awareness and vital funds for organizations like Advocate Children’s Heart Institute and Ronald McDonald House Charities. Whether you’re running in memory of a loved one or showing support for CHD warriors, every step helps spread love, hope, and healing. Join us as we celebrate life, resilience, and the power of community.

Children under 10 are free

Location: Oakwood (39th) and Lakeshore Drive

Arrive & Group Photo: 9:00-9:20

Walk/Run Start: 9:30am

Parking: Oakwood Beach Parking (metered)

Handicapped accessible

Dogs are welcome on the trail, but not at the beach located at 41st and Oakwood
