Race Your Hearts For The Arts - ChiArts 5K Run/Walk

Join The Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts) on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Humboldt Park for our first-ever 5K Run/Walk! Starting at the Humboldt Park Boathouse, participants will enjoy a scenic race path (map coming soon) and receive a custom medal and race shirt. Whether you’re in Chicago or elsewhere, there’s an option for everyone—participate in person, or we have a virtual option to run/walk from anywhere! All proceeds from the event will directly support ChiArts, Chicago’s first public arts high school—and the nation’s only arts high school recruiting novice artists. Over 65% of our students start with little to no training and leave ready to pursue their creative dreams. With arts education more crucial than ever, your participation helps keep our arts programs tuition-free and accessible to young artists across Chicago.
