Description

In recognition of National Dyslexia Month, the Children's Dyslexia Center of Southern Illinois will be holding its annual Walk-A-Thon to help children with Dyslexia. We would like to invite you to join us to help celebrate the success of our Learning Center for the past 22 years!
The Children's Dyslexia Center is proud to provide one of the most effective progressional reading and written language instruction programs to children and young adults with dyslexia throughout the metro-east area. In addition, our center provides training and certification of tutors to work with children with dyslexia.
All of the services offered at the Children's Dyslexia Center are provided at no cost to the participants and their families.
The Children's Dyslexia Center would like to thank you in advance for your continued support and how much your support has been appreciated over the years. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

To guaranteed t-shirt please register by September 27th.

Sponsorships

Without the support of our participants, sponsors, and volunteers, this center would not be possible.
As of 2023, there have been 90+ tutors trained at the center. We have 5 professionals currently in training with us and we have provided nearly 35,000 lessons since we started in 2002, to students who receive services at no cost to them.

Where does the money come from then? The answer is fundraisers, and this Annual Walk-A-Thon is a great way to contribute to our mission to encourage change, spread knowledge, and be a resource for parents and individuals with dyslexia.
There are many levels of sponsorship, please click here for more information.
