Description
Love Wine? Like Walking or Running? This race is for you!
Join us on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 for an exciting event that features the scenic views of Edwards, IL and the great Wine produced by locally owned by Kickapoo Creek Winery. With registration options for all wine lovers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great time!
Registration includes: A race t-shirt, souvenir wine glass, finisher medal and a glass of wine for runners 21 and older. Runners under 21 are welcome to participate and will receive a discounted registration during check out that includes a shirt, medal and bib (these participants will not receive a wine glass or a glass of wine).
Awards: We are doing finisher medals for all participants so there are no age group medals, however your times will be posted online so you can see how you did in your age group!
This race benefits the Foster Pet Outreach. This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing and results will be posted at www.J3Timing.com.
FAQ's
- Is the race only for 21+? No, minors are welcome to participate and receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib (these participants will not receive a wine glass or a glass of wine).
- Is walking allowed? Yes, absolutely!
- Are strollers allowed? You are welcome to use a stroller for this event but it is not recommended due to uneven ground on the course and children in strollers can participate for free and do not need to register.
- Is the race dog friendly? Yes, but please make sure you dog is on a leash.

The race starts and finishes at the winery. We are still working on the official course map, but this race will feature a cross country style course with epic views of the vineyards and amazing scenery of Kickapoo Winery!

Huge thanks to Foster Pet Outreach for Partnering with us on this event! The mission of Foster Pet Outreach is to help at-risk animals with a focus on dogs and cats. Through an all volunteer base, we determine the individual needs of vulnerable dogs and cats in our foster home program until they find a forever home. Packet Pickup will be on Race Day only and will open an hour before your scheduled start time.
If you would like to have your packet mailed to you directly, you can make that selection during registration ($10 charge) and we'll ship your race packet the week before the event directly to your front door! Shipping to your home address is available until 6/27/21.
