Stand together on September 14, 2024 in support of Nicole Pinelli Kucera and all those who are in the fight against breast cancer. Lace up, fundraise, create a team or come solo! Your strides will benefit Nicole's charity, Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, where she is receiving treatment. 

DATE DETAILS:

Saturday, September 14th at 8:30am - Rolling WAVES  - Due to the narrow course we will have a Rolling Start times.  The last wave out runners is at 9:30am.  This race is a Green Race, There is no water station, please bring your own reusable water bottle.  We will have a water tank for fills ups at 1.75 on the course.

PACKET PICK UP Everyone MUST pick up their packets. You can grab your friends bags, but if you're picking up more than 4 please email Colleen.

The event will go on rain, shine or snow and no cancellations. In the event of severe weather on race morning, we will communicate any changes to the schedule or race with all registered athletes via email, social media, and at the event.

On June 8, 2023, I was diagnosed with inflammatory HER2+ breast cancer. Since then, I have undergone 6 treatments of chemo, had a mastectomy, done 25 rounds of radiations and receive infusions every 3 weeks. My journey so far would not have been possible without my supportive family, friends and community. I am grateful to all of you for supporting the cure efforts. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and from the hearts of my family and dear friends for supporting this extraordinarily important cause.  My Goal for this 5k is to raise $10,000.00 for Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.  Thank You Everyone! Nicole
