Description
Join us for the CAC Root Beer Float Run on Saturday, June 21, 2025 and race to raise funds and inspire hope! All participants can celebrate their accomplishment with a complimentary root beer float after completing the course!
Location: Bell Works (2000 Center Dr Hoffman Estates, IL 60192)
Race Time: 8:00 am start time for 5K/10K
Highlights:
- This is a family friendly event! Kids and adults of all ages are welcome. All children can participate in the 50 yard dash, and registration for the 5K is open to kids ages 5-12 at discounted pricing. We recommend all kids 12 and under run with an adult.
- Strollers welcome! (Runners pushing strollers will be asked to start near the back)
- Looking for a t-shirt for your child under 5? You can add one on at checkout!
- This run is NOT a pet friendly race. Our police department partners will have therapy dogs in attendance, so we ask that you keep furry friends at home for this race. Thank you for your understanding!
- 5K and 10K registration includes an event t-shirt and custom finisher medal. Register by Friday, May 23 to guarantee your size!

About the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC)
Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County (CAC) was established in 1989 to help meet the needs of children in our community who have been victims of or witnesses to violence. We are fully accredited by the National Children's Alliance, and there are 900+ CACs in the United States, as well as 34 countries around the world. Our primary service area includes 38 north and northwest suburbs of Chicago.
