2024 Halloween Hustle 5K

Come run/walk a 5K at Lineman's Lounge in Johnston City, Illinois on Saturday morning October 26th, 2024. The run will begin at 10 AM! This is the inaugural event, so come pack the roads for 3.1 miles and we can continue as a yearly tradition! Halloween costumes are encouraged, but not required.

Lineman's Lounge will provide parking, restrooms, and will open early for the event. All registrants will receive a free drink token (powerade, soda, or beer with valid ID above age 21) upon signup. Bring your friends along for some exercise and fun times!

Register before October 13th to ensure you get a custom T-shirt. There will be extras, but no guarantee of your size so signup early! Shirts will have the logo on the front with event sponsors on the back; High quality shirts made with 60% Cotton, and 40% Polyester, designed and printed by Treign Activewear out of Benton, IL.

There will be a racing timer at the finish line, but no official chip timing will be present. Depending on participant turnout, we will consider for next year's event and turn this year's Fun Run into a certified course race.

There will be marked roads, water stations, and volunteers along the course. Course starts and finishes at Lineman's Lounge. The first mile covers East Broadway, then the remainder goes down Monroe Street to the high school, loops around the Scout Cabin, and comes back the same path out.

After the Fun Run, we can head inside Lineman's Lounge to use your registration's free drink token and have our medal ceremony and costume contest!
