Due to stay at home restrictions and health mandates and recommendations, this race will not be hosted live. We are switching to a virtual 5k race (see info below) which we hope you'll join us at, but also understand if you would like to request a refund. Like Walking or Running? Love Wine? This race is for you!
Race Swag: All participants will receive a race t-shirt, souvenir wine glass, finisher medal and a glass of wine (or soda for our under 21 runners) after the race!
Join us on Saturday, June 20th, 2020 for an exciting event that features the scenic views of Maryville, IL and the great Wine produced by locally owned by Bella Vista Winery. With registration options for all wine lovers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great time!
Awards: We are doing finisher medals for all participants so there are no age group medals because everyone wins at this event!
2 Registration Options Available:
1) Wine Run 5k
Enjoy an awesome and fun 5k run, then celebrate your accomplishment with a glass of wine from locally renowned Bella Vista Winery!
2) 0.0 K Race
Spectators are also encouraged to attend! The 0k option gains you access to the race and includes a full pour and a souvenir wine glass.. and you don't even have to run!
This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing and results will be posted at www.J3Timing.com.
FAQ's
- Is the race only for 21+? No, minors are welcome to participate, but they will get a free soda instead of wine.
- Is walking allowed? Yes, absolutely!
- Are strollers allowed? Yes
- Is the race dog friendly? Yes, but please make sure you dog is on a leash.
- Wine's cool, but I prefer Beer! That's not a question... but if we get enough requests we will absolutely look into adding a beer option!
