Rockford 70.3 Preview Ride

Rock River Multisport Group Ride.

** RIDE THE IRONMAN 70.3/ROCKFORD COURSE **

This group ride is an organized, supported, group ride to preview the Ironman/Rockford 70.3 bike course.

Details:

• Group Ride - if you choose to ride ahead, you acknowledge that you are not covered by traffic control escorts.
• Pace of ride will be determined by group - this is meant as a no-drop social, course preview ride.
• Start and Finish at the transition area (Davis Park/Embassy Suites).
  • 416 South Main Street, Rockford IL 61104.
  • Parking will be first-come, first-served in several lots close to the hotel (see map below).
• Winnebago County Sheriff will provide LEAD and TRAILING escorts for entire ride.
• The route will not be closed and will be open to all normal traffic. 
• RRM support tent near 1/2-way point (on Yalebridge road).
• RRM SAG vehicle.
• Registration fee covers the cost of County Sheriff escorts, insurance, and support.
