Description
2018 Half Marathon 5K
Best Certified Half Marathon in Southern Illinois. Hills and Hollows Course starts with the American Legion Honor Guard presenting the American Flag, National Anthem sung followed by an Invocation.
Aid stations at every mile with Water and Gatorade, each mile is marked
5K is an out and back course on flat to rolling county road thru beautiful farm country.
Half Marathon Course is a certified course, rolling with 2 mile gradual down hill, to a flat. Last 2 miles will be up hill to the finish. Course closes 11:00 AM.
Awards: Finishers Medals, Awards 3 deep, (10 & Under, 11 -14 in 5K), (14 & Under Half Marathon), 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 6-64, 65-69, 70+. Tech Shirt for competitive runners who register early.
**Special Awards for the 1st Emergency Response Personnel and Active or Retired Military Finisher in the Half Marathon and 5K**

race event and must be submitted together via USPS with completed entry forms and payment or Online
Volunteers and Non Competitive 5K Fun Walkers will receive Shirt but will not receive times, finishers medal or awards.
