I'm Back 5K

Join us for the I'm Back 5K in honor of Jeff Niewedde. The race will start and finish at Ceraland Park in Columbus, Indiana. All proceeds will benefit Jeff and his family. Race starts at 3:00pm on Sunday, December 7th and Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup opens at 2:00 pm.  

As you may know, Jeff’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable, and he is a true miracle. After a tragic accident in September 2024, he spent two months in a coma and was finally released from the hospital on December 7th to make it home to be with his boys, whom he calls his human saviors. This December 7th event will be exactly one year later and we are thrilled to celebrate Jeff’s incredible recovery and return to doing what he loves - being a Dad and coaching young runners.

Jeff has always told others that he is a passionate coach that is unwavering for these kids he coaches before the accident...when we asked him how he feels now about coaching...he said "There are no words to describe my coaching moving forward besides "Unconditional Love" for these beautiful souls to help them know that as their feet hit their running soles to the ground...Jesus's feet and soles hit the ground right next to theirs as he is always right beside us."
