Description
The Elkhart Education Foundation is excited to host the annual Ugly Sweater 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Sweater Stroll Presented by NIBCO. This is a fun-filled event for all: the serious runner, the recreational jogger, walkers, and our furry friends.
Prior to the race, take some fun pics at the First State Bank Photo Booth. Wear your tackiest sweater and you may win the Ugliest Sweater Contest (contest starts before the race).
At the finish line, enjoy hot chocolate, fruit and cookies!
Check-in and packet pickup / Onsite Registration begins on Friday, December 6from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Elkhart Health & Aquatics in the Community Meeting Rooms and Saturday, December 7 at NIBCO Water and Ice Park from 7:00 - 8:15am.
We encourage people to pickup the day before if at all possible to streamline the morning.
Awards
Top three overall Male/Female in the 5K. 15 Age groups awards two deep in each for MF.
Costume awards! Get in on the fun and wear your silliest, funniest sweaters and holiday gear! We will even give out an award for our furry friends.
Not really a runner or walker but want to help?
We need a lot of volunteers! Maybe you have a friend or partner who just isn't into running OR you want to help AND run/walk in the event! Good news! There are a lot of options! Just reach out and let our team know you want to help!
