Dunes Dash 5k

Join Save the Dunes in the Indiana Dunes National Park for this year's annual Dunes Dash. On May 31, we'll be hitting the trails of scenic West Beach. In addition to the 5K, there will be a 1 mile Kids Fun Run.  We welcome both avid and novice runners/walkers to this fun race. Your registration helps us fulfill our mission of protecting and advocating for the Indiana dunes, Lake Michigan, and the surrounding natural areas for the health and vitality of the environment and the people who live, work, and recreate in Northwest Indiana. Awards given to the top finishers.

Early registration is $30 for 5k and $15 for Kids Fun Run. Online day of race registration is $40 for 5k and $20 for Kids Fun Run. Tee shirts may be added on for $20 with registrations received before April 15.

**The 5k course is run on moderate and strenuous trails.  

***Please note Indiana Dunes National Park passes will be required to enter the park. If you need a park pass you may purchase one at the gate or purchase in advance through Save the Dunes on the Add-On page of your registration or in person at our offices. To ensure the Indiana Dunes is accessible to all during our event, please reach out to office@savedunes.org for more race information or to obtain your no cost park pass. *Note National Park passes are not available to purchase online through runsignup.com without the purchase of a race registration.*
