Description

Chemo Buddies HOPEFEST is brought to you by Liberty Federal Credit Union and Ascension St. Vincent.

Hopefest is a festival to bring together everyone affected by cancer - Survivors, patients, caregivers, family members, friends and co-workers. We come together as a community to support, celebrate, and encourage one another.

Chemo Buddies annual Hopefest will be held on May 6, 2023 at Friedman Park in Newburgh.
The day will kick off with a 5K Hope RUN through the park at 9:00am.  You will find the start/finish line near the event center.  Our signature event - the Survivor’s Parade will begin at the amphitheater at 10:30am.  Please find a spot in the amphitheater to cheer on all the survivors!  Immediately following the parade will be the start of the 1 mile Hope WALK.  This will begin and end behind the amphitheater at 11:00am.
Throughout the day enjoy checking out some cool cars at the cruise-in, shop at vendor village, eat something from one of the delicious food trucks, listen to the live music, and let the kids enjoy the inflatables and face painting.  It’s sure to be a great event?

This year's 5k event will honor the memory of our beloved friend and doctor, Dr. Sherri Ziegler. We miss you dearly, sweet friend.

Please note: Event is rain or shine. There are no refunds. Shirts, medals and other swag are available only as supplies last. Please register before April 20 to ensure you will receive these items!
